Thankful Farmacies will help overcome the 3 barriers to good nutrition:

  1. Affordability = price gap

  2. Availability = distance gap

  3. Acceptability = knowledge gap

Thankful Farmacies will help Australians access nutritious food for improved health outcomes.  Located in hospitals, the Thankful Farmacy provides low- income families and those suffering nutrition related illness, with access to groceries and fresh produce for their household all year round.

If 1/4 of food currently lost or wasted was saved, it would feed 870m hungry people. Globally an estimated 931 million tonnes of food goes into the waste bins of households, retailers, restaurants and other food services.

That roughly equals 23 million fully loaded 40-tonne trucks – bumper-to-bumper, enough to circle the Earth 7 times.

We are developing a digital tool to help reduce household food waste and helping save time, save money, save food and the planet.

Music for Mental Health

Music is a powerful tool and can change the way we act, feel and think.

Fear, worry, and stress are normal responses when we are faced with uncertainty or the unknown.  Added to the fear caused by COVID-19 are the significant changes to our daily lives, and faced with new realities of working from home, temporary unemployment, home-schooling of children, and lack of physical contact with other family members, friends and colleagues, it is important that we look after our mental, as well as our physical, health.
