The Sydney Swans AFL team have unveiled the custom guernsey they will wear for their 2021 Pride Game.

Playing their sixth annual Pride Game this is the first time the Swans have worn a custom guernsey for the occasion. The side will also sport rainbow socks.

“Our Pride guernsey reflects the importance of being an inclusive club and we want everyone to feel welcome at the football,” said Swans CEO Tom Harley.

The Pride Cup began as a powerful gesture of mate-ship in a country footy club and has since grown into a national movement for change that unites communities. https://pridecup.org.au/

I truly resonate with the message of celebrating diversity in sports highlighted in your post. I remember joining my college soccer team, where our differences not only made us stronger but also fostered a level devil sense of family. It’s inspiring to see more spaces embracing this idea. Thank you for sharing!
